Cloudy and mild in the south, with a few spots of light rain. A fresher feel is expected in the north, with clear spells developing. Thicker cloud will arrive from the west later, bringing patchy drizzle, chiefly over western hills.
Monday:
Warm and humid in the south with cloudy skies, although some brighter spells are possible. A dry start in the north, before heavy rain moves into Northern Ireland and Scotland.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
A band of rain sinks south on Tuesday, with fresher air spreading across the country. Staying changeable thereafter with rain and brisk winds at times.

Remaining changeable, with occasional rain or showers arriving from the North Atlantic, most frequent across northern and western parts of the UK, where some strong winds will also be possible at times. However, there will also be some reasonably dry and more settled periods interspersed, especially across southern areas, with a chance these may extend to more of the UK later in the period. Temperatures for the period as a whole will probably be close to average overall, but there is scope for some rather warm days at times, along with occasional relatively cool nights giving the occasional grass frost.

Most likely remaining changeable, with further spells of rain and showers arriving from the North Atlantic. Strong winds possible too at times, these most frequent across the north and west. Some short-lived settled spells are also possible, these most likely in the south. Temperatures for the period as a whole will probably be close to average overall.
