High 1040 expected over Faeroes on Tuesday evening, remaining mostly stationary, expected 1038 by midday on Wednesday, 1034 by midday on Thursday, and then expected 1030 south west of Iceland by midday Friday. Low 980 expected west of Fitzroy from Tuesday evening, and then remaining until Friday when the low starts to gradually move west and lose its identity. No gales are expected to affect this region during the forecast period, however strong winds are likely to affect the English Channel sea areas at times from Tuesday evening until Wednesday evening, before strong winds ease here. Strong winds also likely to affect Viking, North Utsire, South Utsire, Forties, Fisher and German Bight from Wednesday afternoon and continuing here for the rest of the forecast period, with near gales at times. Widespread fog is not expected to affect the area


Niton

High 1040 expected over Faeroes on Tuesday evening, remaining mostly stationary, expected 1038 by midday on Wednesday, 1034 by midday on Thursday, and then expected 1030 south west of Iceland by midday Friday. Low 980 expected west of Fitzroy from Tuesday evening, and then remaining until Friday when the low starts to gradually move west and lose its identity. Strong winds are likely to affect most sea areas from Tuesday evening onwards, with gales also likely in Plymouth, Fitzroy, Sole, Fastnet and Shannon. Gales ease for these sea areas later on Wednesday, and strong winds ease for all but the far western sea areas, before easing here too later Thursday. No further gales are expected and widespread fog is not expected to affect the region during this forecast period


Portpatrick

High 1040 expected over Faeroes on Tuesday evening, remaining mostly stationary, expected 1038 by midday on Wednesday, 1034 by midday on Thursday, and then expected 1030 south west of Iceland by midday Friday. Low 980 expected west of Fitzroy from Tuesday evening, and then remaining until Friday when the low starts to gradually move west and lose its identity. Strong winds are likely to affect southern sea areas from Tuesday evening onwards, with gales likely in Fastnet and Shannon. Gales then ease for these areas later on Wednesday, but strong winds are expected to continue in southwestern sea areas into Thursday, before easing here too later on Thursday afternoon. No further gales are expected and widespread fog is not expected to affect the region during this forecast period
