West Central Section

Mainly fair, but moderate or poor at first in east.

Denmark Strait

Cyclonic 4 to 6, occasionally 3 in northeast, becoming easterly 6 to gale 8 in south, veering southwesterly 5 or 6 later in south. Moderate or rough in south, otherwise slight or moderate. Occasional rain or drizzle, but sleet or freezing drizzle at times near greenland, fog patches developing in northwest. Moderate or good, occasionally poor in southeast and very poor in northwest.

North Iceland

Southerly or southeasterly in south, but southerly or southwesterly in north, 5 or 6, but 7 or gale 8 at first in far north. Moderate, occasionally rough in north and far south. Fog banks becoming extensive at times, occasional rain or drizzle later in far south. Poor or very poor, occasionally moderate, becoming moderate or poor later in far south. Occasional light icing in far northwest mainly over the ice, with temperatures around ms03.

Norwegian Basin

Variable 2 to 4 at first in northeast, otherwise easterly or southeasterly 3 to 5, increasing 5 or 6 later in west. Moderate or rough, becoming mainly moderate. Mainly fair, occasional rain later in southwest. Moderate or good, occasionally poor later in southwest.

Storms expected in West Northern Section with severe gales expected in East Northern Section and Denmark Strait. Gales in East Central Section and West Central Section.
