Denmark Strait

Cyclonic mainly easterly or northeasterly, 6 to gale 8, increasing severe gale 9 or storm 10 for a time within 50 miles of the greenland coast between 25 west and 33 west, but decreasing 4 to 6 in south and east. Rough or very rough, becoming moderate or rough in east. Rain, sleet, snow or freezing rain at times. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor. Light or moderate icing at times near the ice, with temperatures around ms02.

North Iceland

Southerly or southwesterly in north but southeasterly in south, 4 to 6. Moderate. Occasional sleet, drizzle or freezing rain, fog banks, perhaps extensive fog for a time. Moderate to very poor, occasionally good. Light or moderate icing until later in far north, with temperatures ms02 to ms04.
