Occasional rain in east, rain and drizzle with fog patches in west. Good occasionally moderate in east, moderate or good, occasionally very poor in west.

East Central Section

Easterly or northeasterly 4 to 6, but 6 or 7 at first in far southeast. Moderate or rough, but rough or very rough at first in southeast. Showers, thundery in southeast. Good occasionally moderate, and poor in southeast.

West Central Section

Easterly or southeasterly 5 to 7, increasing 7 to severe gale 9 later in west. Moderate at first in far east and high at first in far west, otherwise rough or very rough. Occasional rain or showers in east, rain or drizzle, with fog patches at first, in west. Good occasionally moderate in east, moderate or good occasionally very poor in west.

Denmark Strait

Variable 2 to 4 at first in northeast, otherwise westerly or southwesterly 4 to 6, backing southerly or southwesterly 6 to gale 8 later. Rough or very rough, but becoming moderate or rough for a time. Rain or drizzle, fog patches, sleet or snow in northwest. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor. Light to moderate icing for a time in southwest, within 50 miles of the greenland coast, with temperatures ms02 to ms05.

North Iceland

Northwesterly 7 to severe gale 9 backing westerly or southwesterly 4 to 6, increasing 7 to severe gale 9 later except in the far south. Rough or very rough, occasionally high at first in east. Occasional rain or snow in north, mainly fair in south. Good, occasionally poor in north. Light or moderate icing to the north of 67 north with temperatures ms03 to ms06, but severe to very severe icing at first north of 71 north with temperatures ms07 to ms10.

Norwegian Basin

Westerly or northwesterly 6 to gale 8, occasionally severe gale 9 in northeast, veering northerly 4 to 6, then backing westerly later in north. Moderate at first in south, otherwise rough or very rough, becoming high in northeast. Occasional rain or showers, wintry in north, then becoming mainly fair later in west. Good occasionally poor.

Severe gales are expected in West Central Section and north Iceland. Gales are expected in Southeast Iceland, Denmark Strait and Norwegian Basin.
