West Northern Section

Northeasterly 4 to 6, but 6 to gale 8 at first and later in far northeast. Moderate or rough, occasionally very rough for a time in far southwest. Occasional rain and drizzle with fog patches at first in south, mainly fair in north. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor at first in south.

East Central Section

Southerly or southwesterly, but southeasterly at first in north, 4 to 6, occasionally 7 at first, becoming cyclonic 3 or 4 later in northwest. Rough or very rough, but moderate or rough at first in north and east. Occasional rain or showers, perhaps thundery at times. Moderate or good, occasionally poor.

West Central Section

Cyclonic 5 to 7, decreasing 3 to 5 later. Rough or very rough, occasionally moderate at first in northeast and later in southwest. Rain or showers, thundery at times, fog patches at first in north. Moderate or good, occasionally poor, but very poor at first in north.

Denmark Strait

Northeasterly 4 to 6, but 6 to gale 8 in southeast near Iceland, decreasing 2 or 3 at times in west near greenland coast. Moderate or rough, occasionally slight in north. Mainly fair. Moderate or good.

North Iceland

In north

Cyclonic, mainly northerly or northwesterly, 4 to 6, occasionally 7 at first in northeast, becoming variable 2 to 4. Moderate or rough, occasionally very rough at first in northeast, becoming slight or moderate later. Snow showers at first in east, otherwise mainly fair. Moderate or good, occasionally poor at first in east. Occasional light icing at first in northeast with temperatures between ms01 and ms03.
