North Iceland

In northwestern half of the area

Norwegian Basin

In western half of the area

Southwesterly 7 to severe gale 9 at first in southeast, otherwise cyclonic 4 to 6, becoming variable 2 to 4 later. Very rough becoming rough. Rain or showers then fair. Moderate or good, occasionally poor at first.

In eastern half of the area

Southeasterly 6 to gale 8 at first in north, otherwise southwesterly 7 to severe gale 9, occasionally storm 10 at first within 50 miles of the Norwegian coast between 62 north and 64 north, veering westerly or northwesterly 6 to gale 8 later, and then decreasing 3 to 5 later in south and west.
