West Northern Section

In north

Cyclonic 3 to 5 in northwest, otherwise southwesterly 4 to 6. Moderate occasionally rough, becoming slight at times in far west. Fog patches at first in far northwest, otherwise showers. Good, occasionally very poor at first in far northwest.

Southwesterly 4 to 6 until later in north, otherwise variable 2 to 4, becoming northeasterly 3 to 5 in south, occasionally 6 later in south, becoming cyclonic 3 to 5 later in northwest. Moderate, occasionally rough in far north. Showers, then rain and fog patches in southeast. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor in southeast.

East Central Section

Cyclonic, mainly easterly or southeasterly, 3 to 5, occasionally 6 later in southwest. Moderate, occasionally rough later in far southwest. Occasional rain or drizzle with fog patches. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor.

West Central Section

Cyclonic 3 to 5, increasing 5 to 7, occasionally gale 8 later in south and west. Moderate or rough, occasionally very rough later in far west. Showers at first in north and west, otherwise rain at times, perhaps thundery later in south, fog patches in east and also later in west. Norwegian Basin

Westerly or northwesterly 4 to 6, occasionally 7 at first, decreasing 3 or 4 later in south and west, then backing southwesterly later in far northwest. Rough, becoming moderate later in west. Occasional rain or showers in east and at first in west, fog patches in northwest. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor in northwest and poor elsewhere.
