North Iceland
In east
Northerly or northeasterly 4 to 6, becoming variable 2 to 4 in south, then southerly 4 to 6 later in southeast. Moderate or rough. Fair, snow and sleet developing later, mainly in south. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor later. Light or moderate icing until later in north with temperatures ms04 to ms07, occasionally severe at first in far northeast with temperatures ms07 to ms10.
In west
Southeasterly 5 to 7, occasionally 4 at first and increasing gale 8 at times later. Moderate or rough. Fair, then rain, sleet or snow at times later, except in far northwest. Good, becoming moderate to very poor later, except in far north. Occasional light or moderate icing, with temperatures ms03 or ms04.
Norwegian Basin
Northerly or northwesterly 5 to 7, decreasing 3 to 5 in east, but becoming variable 2 to 4 in west. Rough, occasionally very rough in northeast. Wintry showers, mainly in east. Moderate or good, occasionally poor in east.

Violent storms expected in Denmark Strait with storms in the northwest of West Northern Section. Severe gales expected in West Central Section and gales in north Iceland.
