West Northern Section

Occasional rain or drizzle in south, drizzle and fog patches in far northwest, otherwise fair. Moderate or poor in south, poor or very poor far northwest, otherwise good.

East Central Section

Cyclonic in north, otherwise westerly or southwesterly, backing southerly, but becoming cyclonic later in west, 5 to 7. Rough or very rough, occasionally high at first. Occasional rain or showers. Good occasionally moderate.

West Central Section

Cyclonic 4 to 6, increasing 6 to gale 8 in southeast. Rough or very rough, becoming moderate or rough, occasionally very rough later in southeast. Occasional rain or showers, thundery in south, fog patches in north. Moderate or good, occasionally poor in south and very poor in north.

Denmark Strait

Variable 2 to 4, becoming northerly or northeasterly 4 to 6. Slight or moderate, occasionally smooth in far north. Rain or drizzle with fog banks, but snow and freezing rain later in north. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor.

North Iceland

Norwegian Basin
