Faeroes

Variable, becoming north or northeast, 2 to 4. Slight or moderate. Rain or showers. Good, occasionally moderate.

Southeast Iceland

Variable 2 to 4, but easterly 3 to 5 in south. Slight or moderate. Rain at times. Good, occasionally moderate.

East Northern Section

In northern half of the area

Variable 2 to 4, becoming easterly or southeasterly 3 to 5, increasing 6 at times later. Slight or moderate. Showers, mainly in east, then rain later in southwest. Moderate or good, occasionally poor later in southwest.

In southern half of the area

Cyclonic 3 to 5, becoming southeasterly later, then veering southwesterly later in far southwest, 4 to 6. Moderate. Rain or showers, fog patches. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor.

West Northern Section

In northern half of the area

Cyclonic, mainly easterly or southeasterly, 3 to 5, increasing 6 at times in far west. Slight at first in far north, otherwise moderate. Fair at first in far northeast, otherwise rain or drizzle at times, fog patches in south. Good at first in far northeast, otherwise moderate of good, becoming poor at times, but occasionally very poor in south.

In southern half of the area

Variable 2 to 4, becoming cyclonic 4 to 6, occasionally 7 later in southeast. Moderate, occasionally rough later in far southeast. Occasional drizzle, then rain later, fog patches. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor.

East Central Section

Westerly or southwesterly 4 or 5 at first in far east, otherwise variable 2 to 4, becoming southerly or southwesterly 4 to 6, except in far southeast. Slight in southeast, moderate in northwest, occasionally rough later in far northwest. Occasional rain or drizzle, fog patches developing in far northwest. Moderate or good, occasionally poor in northwest, or very poor in far northwest.

West Central Section

In southern half of area

Southerly or southwesterly 4 to 6, becoming variable 2 to 4 later in west. Moderate, occasionally rough later in far south. Rain or showers, fog patches. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor.

In northern half of area

Cyclonic, becoming southerly or southwesterly, veering westerly later, 4 or 5, increasing 6 at times except in far west. Moderate, occasionally rough later in east. Rain or showers, becoming mainly fair later in west, fog banks at first, then fog patches later in east. Moderate to very poor, becoming moderate or good later, occasionally very poor later in east.

Denmark Strait

Variable 3 or less at first in far north, otherwise southerly or southwesterly 3 to 5, becoming variable 3 or less in south, then becoming easterly 3 to 5 later in far south. Slight, occasionally moderate. Occasional drizzle, rain later in far west, fog patches near greenland. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor near greenland.

North Iceland

In western half of the area

Variable becoming southwesterly, 2 to 4, occasionally 5 later. Slight. Fog banks in north. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor in north.

In eastern half of the area

Westerly or northwesterly 3 to 5, becoming variable 2 to 4 later. Slight or moderate. Occasional rain in southeast. Good, occasionally moderate in southeast.
