Denmark Strait

Variable 3 or less at first in far north and later in far southwest, otherwise cyclonic, mainly northeasterly, 7 to severe gale 9, occasionally storm 10 at first near greenland coast. Slight or moderate at first in far north, otherwise rough or very rough, occasionally high at first near greenland coast. Rain or showers, occasional sleet or snow near greenland coast, fog patches later in northwest. Moderate or good, occasionally poor, but very poor near greenland coast and later in northwest.

North Iceland

In northern half of area

Cyclonic, mainly easterly or northeasterly 4 to 6, increasing 6 to gale 8 in west. Slight or moderate, becoming rough or very rough, but moderate in northeast. Rain and fog patches, snow in far north. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor. Light icing later in far northwest.

In southern half of area

Cyclonic, mainly southerly, 5 to 7, occasionally gale 8 at first, becoming variable 2 to 4 at for a time in west. Moderate or rough, becoming rough or very rough later, occasionally high later in south. Occasional rain or showers, fog patches at first in east.
