Cyclonic, mainly northeasterly, 7 to severe gale 9, increasing storm 10 to violent storm 11 in northeast. Rough or very rough becoming very rough or high. Sleet or snow. Moderate to very poor. Light to moderate icing throughout except in southeast, with temperatures ms02 to ms05, severe to very severe icing then developing in the north, north of 66 north, close to the ice, with temperatures ms06 to ms08.
In area west of 32 west
Northeasterly 5 to 7, backing westerly 3 to 5 later, then becoming variable 2 to 4 later. Moderate or rough. Occasional snow, becoming mainly fair. Moderate to very poor, becoming good. Light icing at first, with temperatures ms02 to ms03.
North Iceland
Cyclonic 6 to gale 8, increasing gale 8 or severe gale 9 in west, occasionally storm 10 later in west, becoming southerly or southeasterly 4 to 6 later in southeast. Moderate or rough becoming rough or very rough in south. Occasional rain or drizzle in south, occasional sleet or snow in north. Moderate or good occasionally poor in southeast, moderate occasionally very poor elsewhere. Light or moderate icing in northwest throughout with temperatures ms03 to ms06. Severe to very severe icing developing in far northwest, close to the ice, with temperatures ms07 to ms10.
Norwegian Basin
Southeasterly 4 to 6 at first in west, otherwise southwesterly 6 to gale 8. Rough or very rough. Rain or showers. Moderate or good, occasionally poor.

Violent storms are expected in Rockall, East Northern Section, West Northern Section and Denmark Strait. Storms are expected in Bailey, East Central Section, West Central Section and north Iceland, with a risk of storms in Faeroes. Severe gales are expected in Shannon, Southeast Iceland and Norwegian Basin. Gales are expected in Sole.
