Northerly 5 to 7, increasing 7 or gale 8, occasionally severe gale 9 in northwest and later elsewhere. Moderate or rough becoming rough or very rough later. Occasional snow. Moderate or poor, occasionally very poor. Light to moderate icing throughout, with temperatures ms04 to ms07. Severe to very severe icing in west near ice throughout, with temperatures ms08 to ms11.

Norwegian Basin

Cyclonic, mainly southerly or southwesterly at first, 7 to severe gale 9. Rough or very rough, becoming very rough or high. Rain or squally showers. Moderate occasionally poor, good at times later.

Storms are expected in East Northern Section, West Northern Section, West Central Section and Denmark Strait. Severe gales expected in Rockall, north Iceland and Norwegian Basin, with gales expected in all other areas.
