West Central Section

Variable 2 to 4 at first in far southeast and westerly 3 to 5 at first in northeast, otherwise southerly 4 to 6, increasing 6 to gale 8, occasionally severe gale 9 in west, becoming cyclonic 7 to severe gale 9 later, occasionally storm 10 later in northwest. Moderate or rough becoming rough or very rough, then very rough or high later in north. Denmark Strait

Cyclonic 3 to 5, increasing 6 at times, increasing 7 to severe gale 9 later in far southwest. Moderate or rough, occasionally very rough in southwest. Occasional sleet, snow or wintry showers, fog patches. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor. Occasional light icing in far northeast and far southwest with temperatures around ms03.

North Iceland

Cyclonic 4 to 6, occasionally 7 at first in far northwest and then later in southeast, becoming variable 2 to 4 later in northwest. Moderate occasionally rough. Rain at times, but occasional sleet, snow or freezing rain in far northwest, fog banks, becoming mainly fair later in far southwest. Moderate to very poor, becoming mainly good later in far southwest. Occasional light icing at first in far northwest, mainly over the ice, with temperatures around ms02.

Norwegian Basin

Mainly variable 2 to 4 in far northeast, but elsewhere southerly or southeasterly 5 to 7, becoming cyclonic 4 to 6 later. Rough, occasionally moderate in east. Mainly fair in far northeast, otherwise rain or drizzle at times with fog patches. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor except in far northeast.

Outlook for following 24 hours

Storms expected in West Northern Section and Denmark Strait with severe gales in East Northern Section and both central sections. Gales expected in Faeroes and Southeast Iceland.
