Westerly or southwesterly winds will reach storm force 10 or violent storm force 11 in the southwestern quarter of West Central Section after 250100UTC. In addition, cyclonically variable winds will reach storm force 10 or violent storm force 11 to the north of 48 north in West Central Section after 250300UTC. Also, easterly winds will reach storm force 10 or violent storm force 11 to the south of 58 north in West Northern Section after 250900UTC, and southeasterly winds will reach storm force 10 at times between 251000UTC and 251600UTC in that part of East Central Section that lies both north of 49 north and west of 24 west. finally, northeasterly winds will reach storm force 10 or violent storm force 11 throughout the period in the far northwest of West Northern Section and to the west of 34 west in Denmark Strait

High or very high at first except in far north, otherwise very rough or high. Rain or squally showers, becoming wintry later. Moderate or poor.
West Central Section
Westerly or southwesterly 4 to 6 at first in east, otherwise cyclonic 6 to gale 8 increasing gale 8 to storm 10, increasing violent storm 11 at times, then becoming westerly later except in far north. Very rough, becoming high or very high. Rain or showers, becoming thundery at times, and with sleet or snow in north, then squally sleet or snow showers following from the west. Moderate to very poor.
Denmark Strait
Northeasterly, mainly 6 to gale 8, but severe gale 9 to violent storm 11 in far west. Very rough or high in west, moderate or rough in east. Sleet or snow at times, the snow falling mainly over the ice. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor. Light or moderate icing at times near the ice, with temperatures ms02 or ms03.
North Iceland
In area to the north of 70 north
Variable 2 to 4, becoming northwesterly 5 at times in far northeast. Slight or moderate. Sleet or snow showers, fog patches at first. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor at first and poor later.
In area to the south of 70 north
Easterly 4 to 6, occasionally 7 at first in far southwest. Moderate or rough. Wintry showers. Good, occasionally poor.
Norwegian Basin
Variable 2 to 4 at first except in far southwest, otherwise southeasterly backing easterly or northeasterly, 3 to 5. Rough at first in west and slight at first in east, otherwise moderate. Wintry showers. Good, occasionally moderate.

Violent storm force winds expected in West Central Section. Storm force winds expected in West Northern Section and Denmark Strait. Severe gales expected in Shannon, Rockall, Bailey, East Northern Section and East Central Section. Gales expected in Sole, Faeroes, Southeast Iceland and the southwest of sea area north Iceland, but with a risk of severe gales later in the far west of sea area Southeast Iceland.
