Denmark Strait

Northerly or northeasterly 5 to 7, occasionally gale 8 between 67 north and 70 north, decreasing 4 at times elsewhere, then becoming cyclonic 3 to 5 later in southeast. Moderate or rough. Rain at times, with sleet near greenland, and also freezing rain at times in northeast. Moderate or poor, occasionally very poor near greenland and good in southeast.

North Iceland

In northwestern half of the area

Easterly or northeasterly 4 to 6, occasionally 7 in far west and 3 elsewhere. Moderate, occasionally rough in southwest. Rain, drizzle or freezing rain at times, fog banks or extensive fog. Poor or very poor, occasionally moderate.

In southeastern half of the area

Cyclonic 3 to 5, occasionally 6 in far south. Moderate, occasionally rough in far southeast. Rain or drizzle at times, with fog banks, but becoming mainly fair in south. Moderate to very poor, becoming moderate or good in south.

Norwegian Basin

Cyclonic becoming southwesterly, then backing southerly later in west, 3 to 5. Slight at first in far east, otherwise moderate, occasionally rough in west. Occasional rain or showers, becoming mainly fair later, fog patches at first in north. Moderate or good, occasionally poor at first in south and very poor at first in north.
