The United Kingdom will lie in a southwesterly airflow during Thursday night and Friday, with showers affecting many areas, especially in the north where they will be squally at times. The wind will be strong, but with gales gradually becoming confined to northern waters.
Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney - Strong wind warning
