General situation

High pressure in the North Sea will slowly move southeast through the next couple of days. Thundery showers are expected to affect England and Wales on Monday, with rain at times over Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney

24 hour forecast: Variable, mainly southerly or southeasterly, 2 to 4. Moderate at first west of Orkney, otherwise smooth or slight. Occasional rain at first, fog patches later in northeast. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor later in northeast.
