General situation

High pressure centred in the North Sea will dissipate and a more changeable southwesterly airflow will become established across all areas through Sunday and Monday. Rain or showers, some heavy and thundery will affect many northern and western waters , with drizzle or showers developing further south and east at times.

Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney

24 hour forecast: Southeast 3 to 5, occasionally variable 2 to 4. Slight or moderate to north and west of Orkney, otherwise smooth of slight. Rain at times, showers later. Good, occasionally poor.

Channel Islands
