General situation

Low pressure will move northeast between Scotland and Iceland overnight bringing a mainly west or southwesterly flow. There will be a few showers around, whilst the far northwest will see rain at times. This will be accompanied by strong winds in the northwest that will gradually ease tomorrow before another Atlantic weather system arrives into the west later.

Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney - Strong wind warning

24 hour forecast: Southwesterly 4 to 6, occasionally 7 at first near Cape Wrath, becoming variable 2 or 3 later in south. Slight or moderate, becoming rough to the north and west of Orkney. Showers. Good, occasionally moderate.
