General situation

A slow moving area of high pressure to the north of the United Kingdom will continue to bring a good deal of fine and settled weather. Winds will be largely light or moderate across the north, however further south, easterly or northeasterly winds will be fresh or strong at times.

Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney

24 hour forecast: Easterly or southeasterly, becoming variable later in Moray Firth, 2 to 4, increasing 5 at times in northwest. Smooth or slight, but slight to the west of Orkney. Mainly fair. Good, occasionally moderate, but poor later in east.

Outlook for the following 24 hours: Easterly or southeasterly 2 to 4, becoming variable 3 or less later. Smooth or slight. Mainly fair, fog patches later. Moderate or good, occasionally poor at first in east, occasionally very poor later.


Rattray Head to Berwick upon Tweed
