General situation
A ridge of high pressure over the British Isles maintains settled conditions this evening, before a front moves east from the Atlantic bringing rain and strong southerly winds from tomorrow morning. The winds then veer westerly on Friday and ease off in the south.
Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney - Strong wind warning
