A complex area of low pressure to the north of the British Isles will bring rain, showers and strong winds at times to many areas through the rest of today and tomorrow.

Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney - Strong wind warning

24 hour forecast: Southerly or southwesterly 3 to 5, becoming cyclonic then westerly or northwesterly, 4 to 6, occasionally 7 later near Rattray Head. Slight or moderate, but smooth or slight in Moray Firth. Rain, showers later, perhaps thundery in south. Moderate or good, occasionally poor.
