General situation

Low pressure to the northeast will move away east and lose its identity on Saturday as high pressure moves northeast into the southern UK. This high will move away into the Continent during Sunday and overnight into Monday as a deep low tracks north towards Iceland.

Forecast: West or northwest 5 to 7. Rough, occasionally very rough in southwest, but slight or moderate in sheltered waters east of shetland. Showers. Good, occasionally moderate or poor.
