Channel Islands - Strong wind warning

24 hour forecast: South to southwest 3 to 4, locally variable 1 to 2 in the south of the area at first, backing south 4 to 5 this evening, increasing 5 to 6 with gusts locally to 35kt overnight, veering southwest 4 to 5 later. Smooth to slight with a low swell, increasing slight to moderate overnight, further increasing rather rough in the northwest later.
