General situation

High pressure centred just west of Ireland will move eastwards to reach the North Sea by Monday morning. This will bring fine and settled conditions to most areas. Strong winds developing across far southern areas of the United Kingdom.

Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney

24 hour forecast: West, becoming variable later, 2 to 4. West from Orkney moderate, occasionally slight at first, otherwise smooth or slight. Drizzle at first. Moderate or good, occasionally poor at first.
