A complex area of low pressure centred to the west of Scotland and northwest of Ireland will bring squally showers and spells of rain during the next day or two. There will also be strong to gale force winds, with severe gales affecting some coastlines at first.

Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney - Strong wind warning
