General situation
Settled conditions at first in the south. However, low pressure centred near Iceland brings outbreaks of rain and strengthening winds across the north which will spread southwards through Sunday. Strong winds will develop widely, with gales affecting many waters. A strong, unstable westerly or northwesterly flow will then persist through Monday.

Channel Islands - Strong wind warning
