General situation
A light or moderate mainly southerly flow with occasional rain or showers will continue at first, however southerly or southwesterly winds will strengthen across the north with gales at times in the northwest later today and into Tuesday. A deepening area of low pressure will then approach the northwest of the United Kingdom later on Tuesday and into Wednesday, bringing strong winds and further rain or showers to all areas, with gales or severe gales to northwestern waters.
Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney - Strong wind warning
