An area of low pressure over east England will continue to move away southeastwards, bringing a cold northerly flow across all parts. Winds will be strong with local gales in places. There will also be showers or longer spells of rain which will turn wintry across northern areas.

Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney - Strong wind warning
