A chilly start. Cloud thickening through the morning ahead of a band of rain. Briefly drier and brighter in the afternoon before further rain arrives in the evening. Often breezy. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Much milder to end the week but unsettled and windy with periods of heavy rain and possible coastal gales. Sunnier spells developing more widely on Saturday with scattered showers.
