Dry with clear spells developing this evening, allowing a rural frost and patchy fog to form overnight. Cloudier in the west with patchy light rain for some. Light winds for most but becoming breezy along the west coast by morning. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
A wet and windy day. A band of heavy rain spreads eastwards, bringing snow to the Pennines and higher ground. Bright or sunny spells later, interspersed with further blustery showers. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Wet and very windy on Friday with Storm Éowyn bringing widespread gales and snow over high ground. More settled on Saturday, though still breezy with further wintry showers on Sunday.
