Mainly bright and dry start, sunny in east, then showers developing from mid-morning with some turning heavy in the afternoon. Windy with southerly gales possible along east coast. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Sunny intervals and showers on Monday, some heavy, breezy. Sunshine, scattered showers Tuesday and Wednesday, lighter winds, but perhaps a longer spell of rain for a time on Tuesday.
