This Evening and Tonight:

Dry with late sunny and then clear spells through the evening, allowing some patches of mist or fog to develop. Clouding over around the Derry and Antrim coast at times. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Saturday:

Areas of mist or fog in places and some cloud around the north coast at first, but good sunny spells soon developing through the day. Warm in any sunshine. Maximum temperature 23 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Mainly dry and bright on Sunday. Warm or Very warm in any sunshine. Showers possible from late Sunday and through Tuesday but plenty of sunny spells too.

High pressure is expected to drift to the northwest at the start of this period. This will allow a north to northeasterly airstream to affect much of the UK, leading to rather cool conditions in some northern and eastern areas. As a vigorous area of low pressure emerges into the North Atlantic by the following weekend, connected to what is currently Tropical Storm Erin, high pressure may re-build across the UK for a time, bringing widely fine and dry conditions and for some, an increase in temperatures, relative to the previous few days. The final week of August may see Atlantic weather systems progress over the UK, with a small chance of widely wetter and windier weather developing, though there is much uncertainty in this aspect of the forecast.

Confidence in the details through this period is low. However, low pressure and therefore unsettled or changeable weather looks more likely, and with this comes the potential for stronger winds at times as well. Whether this takes the form of further low pressure systems running in from the Atlantic, or a rather more slowly evolving weather pattern is less clear. Temperatures are likely be near to above average overall.
