Rise in carbon dioxide off track for limiting global warming to 1.5°C
The increase of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO₂) is now incompatible with IPCC pathways which remain below 1.5°C, a Met Office study finds.

The vast majority staying dry through the evening and overnight. Rather cloudy but some cloud breaks developing towards dawn. Southerly winds occasionally fresh across the coasts. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
Some early brighter spells but cloud increasing with light rain reaching western districts mid to late afternoon, which extends to all counties during the evening. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Monday rather cloudy with the odd shower in south, but some limited brightness expected in north. Tuesday and Wednesday mainly cloudy with some patchy rain about, but also drier interludes.
