Staying dry and bright on Boxing Day with sunny spells. Chilly easterly winds around Irish Sea coasts and the frost becoming extensive in the west at night. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Mainly dry and settled. Cloudy or bright with a frost and fog patches forming at night if skies remain clear. The odd shower possible on Monday. Rather chilly.
