Showers move into the south and west before settled conditions prevail next week
Showers, with possible thunderstorms, will move into the south and west of the UK for a time this weekend, before high pressure becomes re-established.

Early rain then sunny spells and showers
A rather cloudy start with outbreaks of rain, the rain turning more showery through the morning with some sunny spells developing. The showers heavy, and perhaps thundery, for a time before easing through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Mainly dry with evening sunshine. Then a dry and largely clear night, with perhaps a few mist patches developing. Chilly in rural parts. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
A largely dry and sunny day, although an isolated shower is possible in the afternoon, especially across Fermanagh. Warm or very warm with light winds. Maximum temperature 23 °C.
Dry with long sunny or clear spells through the coming days and feeling warm or very warm with only light winds. Risk of a little mist of low cloud overnight.
