This Evening and Tonight:

A band of squally showers will move quickly east this evening, these heavy at times. Becoming mainly dry overnight with clear spells. Feeling cold with a rural frost and some icy stretches developing by dawn. Minimum temperature -1 °C.

Saturday:

A mainly dry day with lengthy sunny periods, but showers are possible around western coasts with a band of heavier showers arriving later. Freshening winds during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Another wet and windy spell on Sunday with gales in places and some heavy rain possible. Remaining changeable and windy on Monday and Tuesday with showers. Temperatures close to average.

An unsettled start to the period with a further area of low pressure likely to bring some rain into the UK, perhaps heaviest in the south while the north is more likely to see a mix of drier interludes and showers. Once this feature clears we see a trend toward more settled conditions, and for much of the UK these likely to continue to the end of the period, although the extreme northwest may see further spells of rain and strong winds at times. Temperatures overall are likely to end up being around or slightly above average, though wind and rain will make it feel chilly at first. As conditions become more settled there is an increases risk of overnight frost and fog.

Generally mild at first, with periods of rain, showers and strong winds alternating with short-lived brighter and cooler interludes. Any rain and strong winds are more likely to affect northern parts during this period though, with pressure possibly building across southern areas in particular. This would result in longer drier and more-settled spells here, albeit with an increased chance of overnight fog and frost. Temperatures probably close to average with any colder interludes expected to be brief.
