A dry and sunny start to the morning. A very warm afternoon to come, though the sunshine turning increasingly hazy as the day progresses. An isolated shower may be possible. Breezy, with some mist along the coast at times. Maximum temperature 28 °C.

Tonight:

A mostly dry evening and night with plenty of clear spells. Some low cloud developing over the hills during the early hours. Staying mild. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Friday:

Some low cloud first thing, with perhaps an isolated light shower. Skies brightening by lunchtime, with plenty of sunshine developing. Generally feeling fresher than of late. Maximum temperature 24 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

A bright start to Saturday, but heavy rain moving in later on in the day. Sunshine and showers for Sunday and then potentially wetter and winder on Monday. Feeling cooler.

A changeable period, as a sequence of Atlantic weather systems move in from the west to bring a mixture of drier spells and some showers or longer spells of rain at times. The best of the drier conditions are more likely towards the south and east, with the rain generally more frequent in parts of the west and northwest, although there will be drier interludes here also. Temperatures will be near-normal overall, with the warmest spots most likely across eastern areas. It will also be breezy at times, most especially across northwestern areas.

Probably changeable or unsettled at first with Atlantic frontal systems bringing showers or longer spells of rain at times. From mid-month, high pressure may begin to become more dominant with conditions becoming drier and more settled, although some showery interludes are still possible. Temperatures are expected to be near normal at first, but probably rising above average later.
