Showers return for the morning, but these should generally clear for most during the afternoon, as a ridge of high pressure moves in. Feeling fresher, with a northwesterly breeze. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Staying on the mixed side, with further showers and longer spells of rain through this period. Some sunnier moments in between. Temperatures around average for early meteorological Autumn.

Likely remaining unsettled with most areas seeing some showers or longer spells of rain at times, with the main focus for these across northern and western areas. Potential for some strong and gusty winds at times. Some drier and more settled interludes could develop, perhaps becoming longer in duration across southern areas later in this period. Temperatures are likely to be near average, although some short-lived warm or very warm spells are possible, especially in the south.

At first, probably a continuation of a changeable regime with the wettest conditions in the northwest and longer drier interludes in the southeast. However, the distribution of rainfall soon becomes very unclear, although compared to earlier in the month there is a greater chance of more prolonged settled/dry spells.
