Showers, with possible thunderstorms, will move into the south and west of the UK for a time this weekend, before high pressure becomes re-established.

Cloud building through the morning with a chance of isolated showers breaking out as temperatures rise, perhaps giving the odd rumble of thunder during the afternoon. Very warm, but cooler by the coast where especially blustery at times. Maximum temperature 26 °C.
Any showers soon easing to give a fine and dry evening with plenty of cloud breaks. Cloud will spill northwards overnight, perhaps introducing further locally heavy showers. Mild overnight. Minimum temperature 14 °C.
A cloudier day across the region, with outbreaks of rain and locally heavy showers. Showers potentially slow-moving and thundery during the afternoon. Becoming dry Monday evening. Warm or very warm. Maximum temperature 25 °C.
Fine and dry through the period with plenty of sunshine and clear skies. Warm or very warm, but cooler across parts of Kent and East Sussex with an onshore breeze.
