Variable amounts of cloud but a generally dry, bright and rather warm day. Cloud increasing late afternoon perhaps bringing some light rain into the far west by early evening. Locally breezy during the afternoon, but lighter winds compared to Saturday. Maximum temperature 21 °C.

Tonight:

Turning cloudy across all parts through the evening with outbreaks of mainly light rain spreading east overnight. Chance of isolated heavier bursts of rain in the far west after dawn. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Monday:

Cloudy at first, some intermittent rain in places. More persistent rain, with embedded heavier pulses, spreads east during the day, followed by brighter conditions and isolated heavy, possibly thundery showers. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Sunshine and showers Tuesday and Wednesday with a risk of hail and thunder. A fine start likely on Thursday, then rain arriving later. Breezy at times and rather cool overall.

The wettest conditions will be in the northwest, with more in the way of drier interludes in the southeast. Strong winds may affect parts of the UK at times, especially the northwest. Later in the period, higher pressure and more settled conditions may begin to become more prevalent, especially in the south. There will probably still be some showers or longer spells of rain though. Temperatures are likely to be near or a little above normal overall.

There are likely to still be some showers or longer spells of rain at times though, particularly towards the north. Winds will mostly be on the light side, although spells of strong winds are possible at times in the north. Temperatures will probably be a little above normal and it could be very warm or hot at times in the south.
