A chilly start on Tuesday, but sunny for many at first. High cloud increasing through the day, but still feeling fairly bright with hazy sunshine filtering through. Breezy conditions, but daytime temperatures likely a tick up on recent days. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
High cloud persisting into the evening, although plenty of breaks overnight. This will lead to another chilly night for many. Winds strengthening along coasts and high ground. Minimum temperature 2 °C.
A bright morning after a chilly start, with spells of hazy sunshine. Cloud thickening from the west through the late afternoon, but staying dry. Temperatures up on recent days. Breezy. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
An unsettled period ahead, characterised by strong winds and bands of rain, heavy at times, moving in from the west. This signals a change to milder temperatures however.
