Dry with clear periods overnight which will allow a slight frost to develop in places. Later in the night a band of cloud and a few showers will reach the far west of the region. Generally light winds. Minimum temperature -1 °C.
Some early brightness but cloudy will soon increase through the morning. Wet and windy conditions then spread east after midday, with a risk of coastal gales developing. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
