Cloudy this morning with outbreaks of mainly light rain, with some snow or freezing rain for a time inland. Then becoming dry by afternoon and gradually brightening up. WIndy over coasts and some higher ground. Still quite cold. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
It will be a dry evening and night with clear spells. Some frost inland, while the Isles and parts of west coast remain windy. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
Most of the day will be dry and bright with some sunshine at times, though cloud will increase in afternoon bringing some rain. Fresh to strong southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Unsettled and windy on Thursday and Friday with spells of rain, and some drier brighter periods. Much milder. Saturday mainly dry with some sunshine, a few showers, remaining windy.
