It will be a mostly cloudy day with outbreaks of mostly light rain. Still some good dry spells and perhaps some brighter intervals breaking through in the afternoon. Breezy in the west. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy start with light rain possible, turning drier with some clear intervals developing through the evening. Some clear intervals overnight, although a few heavier showers will spread eastwards. Rather cold. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Thursday:

Bright or sunny spells with the odd shower possible at first. Becoming drier through the morning to leave a dry afternoon with sunny spells. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Cloudy and breezy with heavy rain clearing to the north through Friday. Further spells of heavy rain over the weekend with winds strengthening and bringing a risk of gales.

Changeable and at times unsettled, with weather systems spreading in from the Atlantic. These will bring spells of rain, heavy at times, together with a risk of strong winds or gales. Between systems it will be drier and brighter with some sunshine, but also with a few showers in places.
