Mostly cloudy and rather grey, with outbreaks of rain slowly moving north-eastwards through the day. Some brighter intervals may develop later in the evening. Winds remaining light. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Mostly cloudy and breezy on Sunday, some rain over hills. Band of rain moving east on Monday. Cooler and windy on Tuesday, with sunny spells and showers, occasionally heavy.

The wettest conditions will be in the northwest, with more in the way of drier interludes in the southeast. Strong winds may affect parts of the UK at times, especially the northwest. Later in the period, higher pressure and more settled conditions may begin to become more prevalent, especially in the south. There will probably still be some showers or longer spells of rain though. Temperatures are likely to be near to or a little above normal overall.

Towards the end of June, low pressure may begin to have more of an influence, especially across the south, which could lead to outbreaks of heavy showers and thunderstorms.
