Clear spells for a time this evening, with temperatures quickly falling and perhaps a slight frost in places. Then cloud increases with showers or longer spells of rain arriving from the west, mostly clear by dawn. Also becoming breezy. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, these turning light and patchy through the afternoon. Most places becoming dry and perhaps brighter late afternoon. Breezy inland, windy along the coast. Mild. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Breezy Monday with rain spreading east but also some drier spells. Dry Tuesday with light winds and sunny spells. Cloudy with showers on Wednesday. Temperatures generally a little above average.

Much of this period looks like being largely dominated by high pressure, especially towards the south or southeast of the UK. This will mean many places seeing plenty of dry weather with variable cloud amounts and some sunshine, the best of this towards the south or southeast, but perhaps with some fog overnight. However, frontal systems are still likely to affect the north and west of the UK at times though, maybe also briefly affecting other parts, bringing some rain and strong winds, and perhaps a little snow to the high ground in the north. Temperatures will be near or above normal, although patchy overnight frost is still likely at times.

Little change at first, probably most unsettled in the west and northwest but drier and brighter toward the east and southeast. Lower confidence late-March but perhaps a trend toward more blocked and slow-moving weather patterns, although uncertain whether this will lead to cyclonic and so more unsettled weather or anticyclonic, more settled and maybe colder patterns in the vicinity of the UK. In general, some rain still probable but distribution of any wetter areas is extremely low confidence. Temperatures overall near or above average, perhaps with a slightly increasing chance this may trend colder towards the end of the month.
