Saturday, often rather cloudy, some patchy rain in the west.
Largely cloudy across the northern Pennines and Cheviots with patchy outbreaks of rain, these tending to fade later in the day. Mostly dry in the east with some limited bright spells. Gentle winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Cloud tending to break overnight allowing clear spells to develop more widely, and perhaps the odd mist or fog patch forming in sheltered spots. Light winds at first, increasing later. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Any early mist or fog patches soon clearing. Dry for most with some bright or sunny spells, but cloudier towards the northwest with some patchy rain possible. Noticeably breezier. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
Dry with long sunny spells developing and temperatures trending upwards to become warm or very warm. Generally light winds.
