Cloudy in the west, best of sunny spells further east.
A bright start after any early mist and fog quickly clears. Cloud spreading east through the day bringing some patchy rain to the Pennines, otherwise a dry day. Eastern parts seeing the best of any sunny spells. Breezy. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
Cloud lingering over western hills, but generally clearing elsewhere through the evening, with the odd mist and fog patch possible in places as winds ease. Minimum temperature 7 °C.
Cloudy through the morning, but bright and sunny spells developing to the east of the Pennines through the afternoon will give a warm end to the day. Light winds. Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Dry with plenty of sunshine each day, temperatures increasing to become warm or very warm. Generally light winds, although easterly breezes from midweek bringing some cooler temperatures to coasts.
