Remaining mostly cloudy with further rain at times during the evening and overnight, with just a few drier clearer spells in the northwest. Winds easing. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Wednesday:

Cloudy with some outbreaks of rain, lasting most of the day in the east, while the west will turn a little brighter later with a few showers. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Thursday bright with occasional showers. Chance of rain on Friday, then bright with showers again on Saturday.

Changeable and at times unsettled, with weather systems spreading in from the Atlantic. These will bring spells of rain, heavy at times, together with a risk of strong winds or gales. Between systems it will be drier and brighter with some sunshine, but also with a few showers in places. Further into the period there is a chance that the weather patterns could become more slowly evolving for a time. This may lead to more in the way of settled weather, especially in the east, but this is uncertain. Temperatures may be slightly below normal at first, but are likely to rise above average later.
