Any costal low cloud and haar should soon clear to leave a bright day and feeling very warm or hot in the sunshine. A scattering of showers could break out later in the afternoon, any showers heavy and possibly thundery. Maximum temperature 27 °C.
Tonight:
Mainly dry during this evening with most of the showers dying out. However, further thundery downpours could develop later in the night, these most likely through Speyside and into Inverness. Minimum temperature 15 °C.
Thursday:
Heavy thundery downpours clearing north during the morning. Bright and sunny spells then developing with a scattering of thundery showers. Very warm in any sunshine with light winds. Maximum temperature 25 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
A cloudy start on Friday with patchy rain and drizzle. Brighter later. Dry and bright over the weekend and warm or very warm in any sunshine.
