Some rain in the northwest this evening otherwise a mainly dry end to the day. Then the rest of the night will be cloudy with some patchy light rain. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Thursday:

Mainly dry with some warm sunshine breaking through, but the northwest will be cloudy with a little rain, especially later on. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Mainly dry on Friday, patchy light rain in the west. Widespread rain will spread southeast on Saturday followed by a few showers. Mainly dry with bright spells on Sunday.

Northwestern areas are more likely to see the focus of rainfall, but southeastern areas should also see some showers. Confidence becomes lower as we approach the turn of the month, but there are hints that high pressure could return for a time, which would mean dry conditions resuming, especially in the south. Winds will be mostly light or moderate, but occasionally fresh or strong around some coasts, mainly in the north. Temperatures will be near or above normal, warmest in the south, and perhaps becoming very warm again by the start of August.
