Tonight:

Cloudy with outbreaks of heavy rain spreading east through the evening. Further outbreaks of heavy rain overnight, perhaps thundery for a time, then turning more showery towards morning. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Tuesday:

Frequent showers feed in from the northwest through the day, heavy and thundery at times. Best of any brighter spells in the east. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Showers Wednesday morning, becoming dry and bright by midday. A band of heavy rain pushes east Wednesday evening. Frequent heavy showers on Thursday, easing Friday morning, then further rain later.

Remaining changeable, with occasional rain or showers arriving from the North Atlantic, most frequent across northern and western parts of the UK, where some strong winds will also be possible at times. However, there will also be some reasonably dry and more settled periods interspersed, especially across southern areas, with a chance these may extend to more of the UK later in the period. Temperatures for the period as a whole will probably be close to average overall, but there is scope for some rather warm days at times, along with occasional relatively cool nights giving the occasional grass frost.

Most likely remaining changeable, with further spells of rain and showers arriving from the North Atlantic. Strong winds possible too at times, these most frequent across the north and west. Some short-lived settled spells are also possible, these most likely in the south. Temperatures for the period as a whole will probably be close to average overall.
