Cloud and outbreaks of rain in the west at first. This spreading east and becoming heavy for a time. Then clearing to bright spells and showers later in the afternoon. Occasionally windy. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudier in the east with some outbreaks of rain and drier interludes. Otherwise bright then clear spells and a few showers coming in from the west. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Monday:

Any cloud and rain in the east soon clearing. Otherwise bright or sunny spells and scattered showers, more frequent in the west and heavy at times. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Bright or sunny spells and scattered showers on Tuesday and Wednesday, these heavy and thundery at times. Widespread cloud and rain arriving from the west on Thursday.

Rather unsettled early in this period with Atlantic low pressure systems affecting the UK. These will bring showers or longer spells of rain at times. The wettest conditions will be in the northwest, with more in the way of drier interludes in the southeast. Strong winds may affect parts of the UK at times, especially the northwest. Later in the period, higher pressure and more settled conditions may begin to become more prevalent, especially in the south. There will probably still be some showers or longer spells of rain though. Temperatures are likely to be near or a little above normal overall.

Much of the period may be relatively settled for most of the UK. High pressure is likely to be in the vicinity of the UK bringing drier conditions, perhaps more especially to the south and west. There are likely to still be some showers or longer spells of rain at times though, particularly towards the north. Winds will mostly be on the light side, although spells of strong winds are possible at times in the north. Temperatures will probably be a little above normal and it could be very warm or hot at times in the south.
