Mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain, most persistent in the west at first and again later in the day. Drier in the east with some brighter interludes around the middle of the day. Much milder. Strong southwest winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Cloud and occasionally heavy rain clearing through the evening. Then mostly dry with clear spells overnight, though chance of the odd shower in the west. Strong southwest winds. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Tuesday:

Mostly dry with bright spells but the chance of the odd shower in the west through morning. Rain in the evening. Breezy at first, winds gradually easing. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Wednesday morning mostly dry with light winds. Otherwise cloudy and windy as bands of rain and showers, some heavy, pass northeast through most of this period.

Changeable and at times unsettled weather is likely to continue into the start of this period, with low pressure dominating the UK. This means further showers or longer spells of rain at times. All parts could see some heavy rain, but it is likely that western areas will be wettest. Strong winds are likely at times, with gales possible in the west. Equally there should also be some drier or clearer interludes, these more prevalent further east. A transition to a less unsettled pattern becomes increasingly probable from around the 9th or 10th of the month, making drier interludes increasingly common. Temperatures most likely to be around average, particularly at first, and probably overall. Should it become more settled, the chance of overnight frosts would increase

A greater chance of periods of high pressure bringing more in the way of dry weather, compared to the current weather pattern, which also increases the chances of overnight fog and frost. There will most likely however still be periods of rain, showers, and stronger winds, especially in the west. Weather patterns are very uncertain during late November. Overall, near or above average temperatures are most likely though some colder spells are possible, especially should any prolonged settled spells develop.
