Tonight:

Largely cloudy through the evening and overnight with outbreaks of rain, occasionally heavy at first. Some drier and clearer spells may develop at times overnight, mainly in the west. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Monday:

Any cloud and rain at first will soon clear to bright or sunny spells in the morning. Bright spells and a few showers in the afternoon, heavy at times. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Bright or sunny spells and scattered showers Tuesday and Wednesday, some heavy and thundery. Dry, bright start on Thursday, cloud and rain spreading east later.

Rather unsettled early in this period with Atlantic low pressure systems affecting the UK. These will bring showers or longer spells of rain at times. The wettest conditions will be in the northwest, with more in the way of drier interludes in the southeast. Strong winds may affect parts of the UK at times, especially the northwest. Later in the period, higher pressure and more settled conditions may begin to become more prevalent, especially in the south. There will probably still be some showers or longer spells of rain though. Temperatures are likely to be near or a little above normal overall.

Much of the period may be relatively settled for most of the UK. High pressure is likely to be in the vicinity of the UK bringing drier conditions, perhaps more especially to the south and west. There are likely to still be some showers or longer spells of rain at times though, particularly towards the north. Winds will mostly be on the light side, although spells of strong winds are possible at times in the north. Temperatures will probably be a little above normal and it could be very warm or hot at times in the south.
