Mainly dry this morning with some brightness in the north and east. This afternoon will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain and hill snow spreading northeast. Cold. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Rain, hill snow will clear away this evening then dry for a time with patchy frost and ice. Sleet, snow will extend north later. Windy later, west coast gales. Minimum temperature -1 °C.
Cold,cloudy with spells of rain, becoming persistent through the afternoon. Very windy at first. Then widespread severe gale or storm force winds extending north in the afternoon, evening. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
