Storm Eowyn passing northwards, slowly easing winds. Rather cloudy start with showers, frequent and heavy initially, dwindling from the south from late morning, also turning wintry to relatively low levels. Best of the afternoon brightness developing towards Inverness. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Band of rain, sleet and snow showers working across area from west, with outbreaks heaviest at times. Southwest winds touching gale force across western coasts and Isles. Icy patches. Minimum temperature -3 °C.
Windy, cloudy and showery start to the day, but gradually winds easing and turning drier and bright from mid-morning. Cloud increasing from the south through the afternoon, but srtaying dry. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
