A dry, bright start with some icy patches. Clouding over this afternoon with rain spreading into western Aberdeenshire and Moray towards evening. Remaining dry elsewhere. Cold. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Rain will spread east for a time this evening. Then the rest of the night will be dry with a slight frost in sheltered glens. Strong southerly winds this evening. Minimum temperature 2 °C.
The morning will be dry with some sunny spells. Clouding over from the west in the afternoon with rain, heavy at times, spreading east later. Cold. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Mainly dry and bright on Friday and Saturday. Brisk northwesterly winds will bring scattered showers on Sunday, these wintry on hills. Overnight frost and icy patches.
