Fine start for some, but also isolated showers possible. Winds soon strengthening, ahead of a band of rain spreading northeast from late morning. Coastal gales developing, perhaps severe in the west. Rain clearing late afternoon, but isolated heavy showers following. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Any showers soon clearing, but staying rather cloudy and breezy. Further heavy rain then likely spreading north overnight, but clearing by dawn. Winds also potentially strengthening again briefly. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
