Remaining fine throughout Saturday evening with skies staying largely clear. Some coastal low cloud and fog may push inland to affect parts of Kent and Essex overnight. Very mild. Minimum temperature 17 °C.

Sunday:

Sunny spells Sunday, though cloudier than of late. Whilst still hot or very warm, temperatures will be notably cooler across the east of the region with the fresh onshore breeze. Maximum temperature 30 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Generally trending cooler, breezier, and more unsettled. Bands of showery rain moving northeast Monday, perhaps heavy at times. Variable cloud Tuesday and Wednesday with showers or longer spells of rain.

These settled spells could persist for several days at a time and are likely to be accompanied by plenty of sunshine. Interspersed with this will be cloudier, more unsettled intervals which will bring some showers or longer spells of persistent rainfall. Some of the rainfall is likely to be heavy in places, with a risk thunderstorms at times as well. Temperatures are expected to be above normal for the majority of the UK throughout this period. Some hot conditions are likely to develop at times, particularly in southern and eastern areas of the UK.

Temperatures are expected to be above normal and it could be hot at times in parts of the south and east.
