Any heavy, possibly thundery showers will soon clear northeastwards. Remaining largely cloudy overnight, with patches of light rain and drizzle. Drier conditions will spread from the west later, with most places dry by dawn. Minimum temperature 14 °C.

Sunday:

Generally dry and bright through the morning. Scattered showers will develop during the afternoon, especially in the west where they may be heavy, before gradually spreading eastwards into the evening. Maximum temperature 23 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Monday breezy with sunny spells and scattered showers, locally heavy. Some hazy sunshine on Tuesday, though becoming breezy with rain spreading south-eastwards late afternoon. Mostly dry and sunny on Wednesday.

Likely remaining unsettled with most areas seeing some showers or longer spells of rain at times, with the main focus for these across northern and western areas. Potential for some strong and gusty winds at times. Some drier and more settled interludes could develop, perhaps becoming longer in duration across southern areas later in this period. Temperatures are likely to be near average, although some short-lived warm or very warm spells are possible, especially in the south.

Signals are fairly limited from mid-September onward. At first, probably a continuation of a changeable regime with the wettest conditions in the northwest and longer drier interludes in the southeast. However, the distribution of rainfall soon becomes very unclear, although compared to earlier in the month there is a greater chance of more prolonged settled/dry spells. Temperatures likely varying around average with some warm spells likely, especially in the south.
