A cold start, cloud and rain arriving overnight.
A cloudy but cold start with widespread frost. Cloud clears to leave a generally fine day with a good deal of sunshine. Sunshine turning hazy as cloud spreads in from the west. Becoming breezy. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Persistent rain arrives from the west in the late evening. Heavy at times, clearing east by the morning. Windy, easing by the morning away from eastern coasts. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Rain clears east, followed by any residual low cloud leaving some brighter spells before outbreaks of heavy rain spreads east combined with strong, gusty winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
A mild and dry start Friday with rain grazing southern regions. Sunny spells on the weekend. Dry Saturday with showers developing on Sunday. Fresh northerly winds, turning colder.
