Early cloud will break with some brighter or sunny spells developing, but also scattered showers. These turning heavy in places, with thunder and hail possible. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Fine and breezy Wednesday, before rain spreads east later. Breezy Thursday with sunny spells and scattered showers, heavy and thundery. Perhaps drier Friday, but with further showers likely. Staying cool.

Later, low pressure will probably begin to have more of an influence, especially across the south where heavy showers and thunderstorms become more probable.
