Tonight:

Remaining rain or drizzle easing overnight with occasional clear spells developing. Becoming widely chilly by the morning but frost not expected to develop. Occasionally moderate to strong winds continuing. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Tuesday:

Scattered showers affecting East Anglia through the day, but western counties probably staying dry. Variable cloud amounts and still feeling rather chilly, though winds a little lighter than on Monday. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Chance of overnight frost and fog into Wednesday, perhaps slow to clear. Cloud and patchy rain spreads east overnight. Breezier and much milder Thursday and Friday with occasional rain.

Some heavy rain or showers are expected, most often in the west, although with a risk some of this could spread to other areas at times. Snow will probably be confined to high ground in the north. Later in the month, details are uncertain but it may become wetter in the south and perhaps a little drier in the north. Temperatures will probably be above average overall.
