Cloudy but dry to start the day, becoming wet and windy from late morning onwards, with some heavy and blustery outbreaks of rain possible by the evening. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy and wet during the first half of the night, with strong, blustery winds. Clear and dry during the second half of the night, but remaining windy. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Sunday:

Another windy day, but remaining dry in most places, with some sunny spells. The wind will be particularly strong along the coast. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Remaining breezy in the coming days, with bands of rain on Monday and Tuesday, followed by sunny spells and showers. A drier and more settled day overall by Wednesday.

A band of rain will make increasingly erratic eastwards progress at the start of this period, whilst tending to fizzle out, as high pressure becomes more dominant in the vicinity of the UK. Into early November and high pressure will most likely continue to be dominant feature near the UK, meaning drier than normal conditions for most if not all, though it could be rather cloudy and grey at times. If light winds and/or clear skies combine overnight, then areas of fog could develop, as would be typical at this time of year. Overall, temperatures are likely to be close to normal, but with the potential for cold nights with some frost around.

Slowly evolving weather patterns are more likely than normal during early in November which increase the chance of spells of settled and drier weather. Most areas are still likely to see some rain or showers at times but the focus of these more likely across the northwest of the UK. Into mid-November, the chances of a more unsettled weather regime increases again with more frequent spells of rain for many areas and likely windy at times. Some cold nights possible during more settled spells, otherwise temperatures likely to be close to, perhaps a little above average.
