Showers move into the south and west before settled conditions prevail next week
Showers, with possible thunderstorms, will move into the south and west of the UK for a time this weekend, before high pressure becomes re-established.

Saturday dry, warm and sunny.
Any early mist patches quickly clearing with another fine day to follow. Warm, with long spells of sunshine and just a little fair-weather cloud developing into the afternoon. Feeling a little cooler around the coast in the light onshore breeze. Maximum temperature 22 °C.
Dry overnight with long clear spells allowing just the odd shallow mist patch to form, although these will be isolated. Light winds. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
Any isolated early mist patches quickly clearing, then generally fine, warm and sunny, although an isolated shower possible in the far west by evening. A cooler breeze around the coast. Maximum temperature 23 °C.
Risk of scattered thundery showers in the west on Monday. Otherwise further warm, sunny spells. Some areas of coastal cloud possible later, and feeling cooler here in the onshore breeze.
