Some patchy low cloud possible along the coast, breaking up through the morning to leave a dry day with plenty of sunshine. Feeling cooler than recent days in the brisk onshore breeze. Maximum temperature 24 °C.

Tonight:

Staying dry, with late evening sunshine. Remaining breezy along the coast. Some showers possible in the early hours of Thursday, particularly in the west. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Thursday:

A fine day, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures increasing again. Brisk southeasterly winds expected, with some strong gusts along the coast. Isolated showers possible in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 30 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Dry but a little cooler on Friday. A band of patchy rain moving in late on Saturday, perhaps heavy and persistent overnight. Unsettled with showers possible on Sunday.

A more changeable period than we have seen of late, as Atlantic weather systems move in from the west to bring a mixture of drier spells and some showers, or longer spells of rain at times. The rain will likely be heaviest in parts of the west and northwest, with the best of the drier conditions more likely towards the south and east. Temperatures will be near-normal overall, with the warmest spots most likely across eastern areas. It will also be breezy at times, most especially across northwestern areas.

Probably changeable or unsettled at first with Atlantic frontal systems bringing showers or longer spells of rain at times. From mid-month, high pressure may begin to become more dominant with conditions becoming dry and more settled, although some showery interludes are still possible. Temperatures are expected to be near normal at first, but probably rising above average later.
