Headline:

Rather wet and windy at times, but very mild.

This Evening and Tonight:

Often dry overnight although some drizzly outbreaks of rain can't be ruled out. Turning increasingly wet across parts of Cornwall and Devon by the morning, with coastal mist and hill fog developing. Rather windy in places and staying very mild. Minimum temperature 13 °C.

Tuesday:

A mostly dry morning in some eastern counties, but outbreaks of rain in the west spreading erratically eastwards giving most places a very wet afternoon. Very mild. Winds strengthening later. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Staying very mild and rather unsettled through the remainder of the week. Showers or occasional longer periods of rain with the chance of some brighter spells. Breezy at times.

Changeable and at times unsettled weather is likely to continue into the start of this period, with low pressure dominating the UK. This means further showers or longer spells of rain at times. All parts could see some heavy rain, but it is likely that western areas will be wettest. Strong winds are likely at times, with gales possible in the west. Equally there should also be some spells of drier or clearer interludes, these more prevalent further east, and bring the risk of some overnight fog which could be slow to clear through the day. Temperatures most likely to be around average, particularly at first, and probably overall. Should it become more settled, the chance of overnight frosts would also increase.

A greater chance of periods of high pressure bringing more in the way of dry weather, compared to the current weather pattern, which also increases the chances of overnight fog and frost. There will most likely however still be periods of rain, showers, and stronger winds, especially in the west. Weather patterns are very uncertain during late November. Overall, near or above average temperatures are most likely though some colder spells are possible, especially should any prolonged settled spells develop.
