Becoming very windy overnight as Storm Éowyn arrives.
Largely dry this evening and turning chilly under clearing skies. Soon turning cloudy though, with strengthening winds and heavy rain developing as Storm Éowyn gets nearer. Fairly widespread gales for a time, these locally severe in coastal areas, easing later. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
Winds quickly easing through the morning, becoming generally light by the afternoon. Early rain clearing eastern counties then largely dry and cloudy with bright spells. Showers reaching western areas later. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Mainly fine on Saturday with some sunshine, though showers spreading eastwards later. Wet and windy again on Sunday with gales for many and localised flooding possible. Blustery showers Monday.
