This evening will be partly cloudy with scattered showers, heavy at first. Then the rest of the night will see variable amounts of cloud and some showery rain. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Wednesday:

Some bright or sunny spells and a few showers, these becoming lighter and fewer in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Cloudy on Thursday with early rain, and again later. Mainly dry, bright and warm on Friday. Chance of early rain on Saturday, otherwise dry.

Saturday will be warm with some showery weather and even a chance of thunderstorms in places. Then by Sunday and through Bank Holiday Monday, warm and fair weather is expected to prevail. Through the following week, high pressure is expected to broadly remain in place for much of the UK, and fine weather is likely to continue for most of the country. There may be occasions where low pressure to the north may bring some brief spells of rain across northern parts, but in general fair weather will dominate. Temperatures are expected to be above normal, feeling very warm at times with light winds.

High pressure is likely to continue to bring fair weather for most at first. Rain and showers are still possible at times, mainly across Northern Ireland and Scotland. As we head towards mid-June, more mixed conditions are likely with spells of rain and showers. Drier weather is expected between any bouts of wetter weather. These drier interludes will tend to last longer across the south and east of England. Temperatures are most likely to be near or slightly above average overall, with some warm or very warm weather possible.
