This evening will be dry with some sunshine. Then the rest of the night will be dry with lengthy clear periods. Chance of a ground frost in sheltered glens. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Wednesday:

All parts will have a dry day with plenty of sunshine, some high cloud in the afternoon. Winds light. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

A dry and settled few days with plenty of sunshine, feeling quite warm. Patchy overnight frost.

High pressure is likely to be centred close to or over the UK through much of the period. Therefore, many places will be largely dry with some clear or sunny spells, although there may be some overnight mist and fog patches. There could, however, be some outbreaks of rain or showers at times, especially in the west and northwest. Winds will be mostly light, but may be fresher around the coasts at times. Temperatures will generally be near to or a little above normal, but there may be some colder conditions at first in the far northeast. Towards the end of the period there is a chance that conditions turn a little more unsettled.

Residual high pressure will likely give way to more unsettled conditions through the early part of the period. This will probably allow Atlantic low pressure systems to spread towards the UK, increasing the chance of periods of heavy rain and perhaps strong winds at times. Towards the middle of the month, weather patterns become increasingly uncertain; however, the wettest and windiest conditions seem most likely to be in the northwest, with the drier and more settled conditions in the southeast. Temperatures will likely be near normal.
