Wet and windy start to the Easter weekend.
Often unsettled with spells of heavy rain throughout the day. Windy, especially along the coasts, and feeling cool underneath the most persistent cloud and rain. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
A wet and windy evening with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, continuing into the night before easing towards dawn as winds also turn lighter. Rather mild. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
Rain continuing to ease, though showers still possible and remaining largely cloudy with limited bright spells in the afternoon. Temperatures up slightly on Friday's values. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Dry with sunny interludes in the west on Easter Sunday; cloudier with showers possible further east. A changeable picture into next week with bright or sunny periods interspersed with showers.
