Cold and cloudy for most, with occasional light rain.
Feeling chilly beneath a blanket of low cloud, with the best of any brightness in the west. Mainly dry though the odd spot of rain may be felt at times. Light winds for all but the far southwest. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Cloudy and cool this evening with any light rain soon clearing to leave a dry night. Turning breezier from the southwest with most places remaining frost free. Minimum temperature 2 °C.
Mostly dry for all but the far southwest, where a few showers may skirt the Cornish coastline. Breezy here too, but lighter winds elsewhere. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
High pressure continue to dominate, bringing rather cool and cloudy conditions. An increasing risk of rain, and perhaps hill snow, spreading slowly northeastwards from Friday. Some overnight frosts possible.
