Through late March, high pressure is likely to be located to the west or southwest of UK, with a predominantly northwesterly airstream in place. Further weather fronts are likely to round this high, bringing occasional rain to the north and perhaps east of the country, whereas areas further west stand a better chance of being dry. In this setup, it may be rather cool for most, with some overnight frost where skies are clear and winds light. Into early April and high pressure may become rather more dominant, with many areas seeing dry, settled conditions.
